Our Source & Screen Services includes sourcing candidates for a particular role, outreach to the target list, processing of responses and the screening of the candidates who are interested in the role via an automated interview questionnaire.


The offering makes sense for companies that are trying to keep recruiting costs low given that the hiring manager or internal recruiter takes on a portion of the workflow typically done by a Spring Search Group recruiter. The offering is very attractive for companies that don’t have an internal recruiter available for junior and mid-level operational positions or companies that find themselves in a high growth spurt where their internal recruiters need additional support – and it’s particularly attractive for hiring managers that are hiring multiple people for the same position.


Bottom line, you receive a high-quality recruiting process, expert knowledge sourcing the target list, and time savings by letting Spring Search Group do the candidate outreach processing. You’re left with a pool of relevant, interested candidates to assess for the position.


The detailed steps of this service include:

  • Source Candidates via LinkedIn per a Spec Provided by the Client.  Our client provides the parameters of the target candidate; we mine data on LinkedIn to develop a list of candidates that fit the parameters.  Our client can review the list of candidates in a condensed view (name, title, company, LI profile in Google Sheets or Excel).

  • Outreach to Candidates via LinkedIn InMail.  Once the target list is approved by our client, we will reach out to each candidate on the target list via an InMail on LinkedIn.  The InMail follows best practices to gain the best response rate to the inquiry. We will then process through all the responses from outreach. We will document the results of each response in the spreadsheet list of target candidates.  In the event the candidate is interested in the role – we will move on to the next step of screening the candidate for the role via an automated interview questionnaire.

  • Screen Candidates per Spec Provided by the Client.  Our client can detail out what information they would like covered in an automated interview questionnaire.  We will send out the interview questionnaire via Google Forms to each candidate that responds positively to our outreach via LinkedIn.  In addition to the information noted by our client, we also cover reason for leaving current role, personality description, commute, and authorization to work in the United States questions.

  • Final Product.  At the conclusion of our efforts, we provide our client a spreadsheet of the all candidates sourced, outreached and screened.  After our client's review of the candidates' resumes and interview questionnaires, we connect the client to the candidates they are interested in meeting via an introductory email.  The client takes over the interview process from this point forward.  Our client may end up hiring one or many of the individuals presented for the position as we charge for the service, not per hire.

Types of roles included in this service:

  • Manager and Associate/Staff Level Positions. Our Sourcing & Screen Services are available for Manager and Associate/Staff levels only. We do not take on positions at the Director level or higher given that the sourcing of target lists at this level is more complex. In addition, communications with senior level candidates requires the expertise of an executive recruiter.


The fee structure for this service:

  • We charge $4950 per 100 candidates that we work through the process.  We start with 100 candidates sourced; based on results, we source additional candidates per the request of the client.

  • Per 100 candidates, we are seeing response rates between 15% -- 60% to our outreach (depending on the type of position).  Please ask us our expected response rates for specific positions.

  • We can typically turn this process around within 5 – 10 business days and present the final product to our client.
